Walk for Second Chances SA

DATE: Saturday 11 November
TIME: 9.45am for 10am start

MEET: At the Stamford Grand Hotel Glenelg

ROUTE: We will walk from the Stamford Grand Hotel to Brighton Jetty and have a coffee or tea. Then we walk back to the Glenelg Jetty.
We will stop at 11:00am for one minute of silence for Remembrance Day.

PURPOSE: To raise funds in support of Second Chances SA. We are a non-profit volunteer charity organisation supporting people in prison, their children and families with a range of custom-designed programs for children, such as Mentoring camps, birthday and Christmas presents to create brighter, better futures.
We work closely with the children of prisoners to help them complete their education and divert them from Detention. They are the innocent victims of crime. Not their crime. Not their fault.
We are looking to attract donors who understand the long term benefits and value of early intervention.

COST: $50
per person (Adult) walking. (Children under 18 free, when accompanied by a parent or caregiver)

OPEN: This event is open to all BNI members, family and friends, plus open to all non BNI members, friends and interest groups.

This is a group exercise to enjoy each other’s company and is non-competitive. We encourage groups to walk together and not separate.
