Birthday Stars provides presents to children on behalf of their imprisoned parent, reminding them they are valued and loved on their special day.
Parents that are incarcerated can put a request in on the KEX to see a Second Chances Worker and fill in the form with their child’s details and a present will be sent to their child on their birthday in their name.
*Second Chances will check the JIS for any current Intervention Orders. If any IVO exists, the request will not be processed.
Donations of $40 per child enable us to empower parents – keeping families connected and strong.
